Revolutionizing Health Equity: How Localized Quality Care Now Helps Employers Close Health Equity Gaps Nationwide

About this Webinar

With 90% of the U.S. population residing within a 10-mile radius of a Walmart, the company is positioned uniquely to provide quality, affordable health and wellness services in communities where people already shop for  household and healthcare items.

In many communities, Walmart’s Health & Wellness associates are the most accessible healthcare providers for busy families. Beyond their roles as caregivers, they cultivate meaningful relationships within their communities thereby helping to meet the specific community needs. In this webinar, gain insights into how employers can play a pivotal role in combating health disparities and advancing health equity efforts by collaborating with local provider organizations.

  • Understand how employers can leverage community partnerships to address key care accessibility barriers including transportation, cost, and time
  • Focus on health literacy and education to help mitigate SDoH barriers
  • Discuss approaches to offer employees and plan members actionable steps for better health outcomes
  • Move away from a one-size-fits-all approach to a personalized care model
