Her present role is Cigna International Senior Vice President of Global Delivery Systems; responsible for global networks, partnerships, payment integrity and affordability economics.
Prior to joining Cigna, Sophia held senior leadership positions with Aetna/CVS and UnitedHealthcare in US and International, with focus areas in network management, strategic partnerships, population health, medical economics, data analytics, health intelligence, and management consulting.
Sophia has comprehensive knowledge of the payer-provider-consumer dynamics, and navigates through relational and commercial collaborations to develop infrastructure and influence change. In additional to working with delivery systems partners globally, she is also appointed by the state of Colorado as an eHealth Commissioner to improve local healthcare equity and outcomes. Sophia is passionate about advancing global and local healthcare through value-driven initiatives, leveraged technology, and best practices to improve affordability and consumer experience.

Kristin has over 20 years of experience in the field of EAP, WellBeing and employee benefits. In her current role Kristin is responsible for the UHC Global North America Markets growth team. Prior to joining UHC Global, Kristin was with Optum International. As the Head of Global Account Management, she worked with multi-national teams to delight customers and drive growth by strengthening and expanding Optum’s footprint with large, strategic multi-national employers and payers. Before moving into the international space, Kristin worked as a Director of Strategy and Analytics for Optum US. In that role, she was responsible for turning data into customer-facing value stories.
Kristin has a Master’s Degree in Counselling and Psychological Services and has been a CEAP for over 15 years. She recently completed her term of President of the Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) in early October 2022 and now is serving the association as the Immediate Past President.
