The recession, Great Resignation, and the pandemic have challenged an employer’s ability to efficiently meet the needs of their employees. As a result, majority employers are focused on redesigning their health and benefits programs to ensure convenient, timely, and high-quality access to care and to enhance the overall employee experience and maximize retention. What does this mean for health plans?  It is critical for health plans to revamp their employer offerings to stand out among intense competition and strengthen relationships with existing employer customers as well as win new business.
