Fraud, Waste & Abuse [FWA]. There are hundreds of billions of dollars being wasted by fraud that goes undetected every year.
What are the top priorities for your organization this year?
To assist health plans to identify, recover and investigate fraud occurring within the provider networks currently the way we have been doing for CMS for 24 years.
How can health plan SIU/FWA teams identify the fraud schemes occurring within their provider networks currently?
Partner with a FWA vendor that has proven analytics, certified investigative medical record reviewers and licensed investigators with decades of experience performing desktop and field investigations.
What initiatives are you currently spearheading to improve health?
Helping CMS and health plans to eliminate FWA which costs the healthcare industry and federal government hundreds of billions of dollars annually. By limiting or eliminating these expenses, it will lead to better care and close care gaps.
What necessary collaborations/partnerships have you established in developing your initiatives?
We collaborate with CMS, consulting firms, IT developers and health plan leaders to develop the best FWA solutions in the industry.
