Amy West is a seasoned marketing strategist, business development and commercial healthcare leader for the past 25 years. She leads Novo Nordisk US in identifying transformational digital opportunities and breakthrough innovations that enhance patient healthcare experiences and improve outcomes. Amy is credited for being on the forefront of establishing and building Novo Nordisk’s first U.S. Innovation Incubation Hub: Apis Lab, where she oversees opportunity exploration, testing and market validation as well as scouting start-ups, entrepreneurs and third-party accelerator/incubators to develop MVPs for testing and scaling. She and her team to take a patient centric approach to identifying and addressing customer pain points across the healthcare ecosystem, from patient to provider to payer.
Amy’s career includes work in both the client and agency environments, across a broad range of disciplines including digital and commercial innovation, DTC, HCP/Professional and B2B omni-channel marketing, CRM and database management.
Amy has been recognized by numerous industry awards for being a patient advocate and driver for healthcare change, resulting in better patient experience as well as increased innovative sustainability. She is a 2018 MM&M top 40 Healthcare Transformer. In 2013 she was awarded the PM 360 Trailblazer award winner in the Diabetes/Metabolic Disease category.
