Becky serves the state by leading the Health Care Authority’s Medicaid Programs Division. She is responsible for implementing new initiatives and programs while ensuring that the division’s programs and operations support the vision, mission, values, and goals of the agency and the division. As an experienced project manager and operations manager, she is passionate about ensuring the smooth implementation of initiatives, projects, and improvements within the Medicaid program. To that end, Becky has led many of the agency’s COVID-19 pandemic response projects and facilitates a cross-agency COVID-19 coordination meeting. In addition, Becky is currently leading the agency’s work to provide health care to Washington’s uninsured, regardless of immigration status.

A graduate of Washington State University, Becky is a life-long learner. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt practitioner Becky has been a state employee for the past 10 years and has served in various roles at both the Health Care Authority and the Department of Health. She lives in Olympia with her husband and two children.
