Erin Thurston is Director of Member Marketing. She is accountable for the member outreach strategy and multi-channel execution of communications for the Commercial segment. Additionally, her team manages the acquisition marketing and retention efforts for the under-65 individual and family health plans. Since joining Independence in 2011 as a customer relationship management analyst focusing on wide-scale process improvement, Erin has since spent majority of her tenure in Marketing. She is one of the original associates at the company to join the member marketing team when Independence first implemented direct-to-member channels. Erin has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.
