Howard Teitelbaum

Howard Teitelbaum

Vice President

Howard Teitelbaum has spent more than a decade championing value-based focused healthcare in the emergency care space.

In 2009, Howard began developing strategic partnerships for one of the first non-hospital emergency medical facilities in the country. His creativity and focus helped secure contracts with major payer networks and key employers, and his work with providers and hospital systems helped build out robust referral networks needed for the real time care orchestration and organizational scale. This also created the volume needed to demonstrate actuarial-validated savings as an emergency medicine provider and to drive the expansion of the practice.

Following the successful expansion of the practice, Howard began to work on the virtual emergency care delivery model that would become Crucialist. His experience with key risk-bearing stakeholders helped secure early adopters to validate the savings and outcomes. He continues to work with major employers in Florida and is leading the expansion of Crucialist into Arizona and other markets.

A former entrepreneur and employer himself, Howard brings the perspective of buyer, innovator, and risk-bearer to the table. He is married to his wife, Stephanie, for 23 years and has two wonderful daughters who are both in college.
